THE STOCK MARKET … IN THE CROSSHAIRS

Each morning I post short videos via StockTwits wherein I discuss general market conditions ($ES_F $NQ_F $DJIA $SPY $DIA $QQQ $IWM) , bonds ($TLT), precious metals ($GLD $GDX $SLV) and commodities ($USO $UNG) to determine high possibility trade set ups for these and for individual stocks (both bullish and bearish).

The following are examples of various set-ups that Crosshairs traders use to determine possible opportunities. Others are discussed in CROSSHAIRS TRADING UNIVERSITY (CTU) and are available in the Crosshairs workspace via the Tradestation platform.

QUOTE OF THE DAY:  Do not expect but anticipate.

THE STOCK MARKET…IN THE CROSSHAIRS

STRATEGIC SUMMARY: Market is in bullish mode again after holding weekly chart support areas after a high candle count correction.   However, high candle count now on the daily so looking for some rest. Bonds are volatile.  Oil is extended, natural gas is in a box, while precious metals are resting after an extended bounce. Bottom line: we are looking for opportunities to set up on both the long and short side.

STOCKS…IN THE CROSSHAIRS

STRATEGIC SUMMARY: Watching general market now as it moves sideways after a measured move with a high candle count.  We, therefore, are prepared to trade both the long and the short side with an emphasis now on the upside consolidation breakouts and an eye on possible reversal set-ups. Our long ideas include Bullish TIWs and several breakout candidates. Our short ideas include Bearish TIWs and breakdowns out of recent consolidations. Added a new short idea.
