You are known by the traders you attract.   Let me explain.

If I promote myself as a guru with some wonderful, get rich quick trading system thankful only to those who buy my self proclaimed, packaged up snake oil, disguised as an indicator, then I will attract people who believe successful trading is about some system and the person’s trading record that invented it.

Sure, I have those who attend my seminars and those who will join my members only site (whenever I get it up and going) who harbor false expectations, but it won’t be because I promote it!  False expectations are false for a reason and the seed of false expectations is usually planted by…you guessed it…the snake oil salesman!  The stock market does not care about some indicator or purveyors of such; only about those who respect its dominance over human emotion.  Check your emotions and ego at the door of 11 Wall Street and don’t look back.

If, however, I continue to promote the potential of each individual trader, who with focus, patience, and discipline, can learn to consistently make money over time, then I will attract those who believe such.  I will, over time, lose many followers for various reasons, but it won’t be because I over promised returns and under delivered results…the market won’t allow it anyway!  Those who stick around are in it for the long haul and understand that anything worth having is worth building.  Besides, “When you run into people who devote volumes of time and effort to show you how smart they are in the markets, run away. Also, it is true but unfortunate that so many investors and traders (especially the inexperienced and lazy among us) will always gravitate toward those blowhard “know-it-alls” who constantly make big, bold predictions and who are 100% confident in everything they say and do. These are the people really to be avoided at all costs as they are they haven’t figured out how dumb they really are yet and it is only a matter of time before the market shows them.” (Charles Kirk)

Take a look at the following [edited for privacy].  This is a hand written (!) hand delivered (!) note I received from an attendee at a recent Crosshairs Trading University seminar.

Note From A Friend

This is exactly the kind of person I am attracting.  This gentleman truly wants to become a better person and a better trader by following a disciplined course of confidence building.  Notice it is not about me or money or an indicator or a book or some be all to end all seminar course.  Trading is about the journey and this gentleman, along with many other crosshairs traders past, present and future, are on the right course.

I am thankful for each person who visits here and decides to stick around.  Trading is so much more enjoyable when the road is shared by like minds and hearts. May we all learn the law of attraction.

You are a brother to my brother and thank you for that. Just wanted to acknowledge your friendship to him. Even though his ability to trade has stopped, his value of being is even more greater than one can earn trading. So thank you greatly !

    Kind regards,
    Jimmy Kontoulas
