Some things never change. Back in the Roman era of gladiators and coliseum entertainment, the hoi polloi thirsted for brutal fights between beasts and man, man and man, and beasts and beasts. One such favorite was the fight between the BULL and the BEAR. Alan Baker, author of The Gladiator provides a great description of one such fight. It is not for the faint of heart but worth reading as it provides a great analogy to the current day stock market, less the blood and gore. My notes and highlighting are included. Enjoy.
