I received an email today from a new crosshairs trader. With it I am reminded that successful trading is not about an indicator or a particular strategy or even about making lots of money. Successful trading is about forging a life outside the charts by understanding what is within them…a journey that each individual must map out, traverse, and make all their own.
The person who wrote the following traveled from out of state to attend one of my all day seminars. He informed me from the beginning that he was a day trader and my strategy would be hard to follow but “he was willing to give it a good, hard look.” When he left that day I had my doubts but the following speaks for itself.
I am humbled knowing that M.G. is in the process of creating his map. All I did was supply the paper to draw it on.
