CAN YOU CALCULATE YOUR WILLINGNESS TO TRADE?

How about taking the following math quiz:

2468 + 1209 + 8032 – 2011 / 4849 =  ___________________

15 x 28 x 22 / 10 – 922 =  _______________________

1688 / 2 x 12 – 648 / 4740 = ____________________

The answers you arrived at are pretty simple are they not?  To get the answers you either spent a little time with pencil and paper or you just pulled out the ole calculator to help you out.   Either way you should have arrived at a simple answer after doing a little work.  Now take a look at the following:

1 + 1 ___________

I am willing to bet that you did not need pencil and paper or a calculator for this one did you?  Did you come up with the same answer here as you did with the complicated math equations above?  Bet you did.  Did not take you as much time either.  So I ask you: if the answer is the same whether you use complicated math equations or a simple one why follow the complicated path?

What about when you trade?  Whether you believe it or not trading is very simple, it is you who makes it complicated.  Take a look at the following charts.  Do you see the difference?

A COMPLICATED MATH EQUATION:

Complicated_Chart

1 +1:

SIMPLE

One chart is fairly complicated, the other simple.  One takes you quite some time to understand and figure out, if you ever do.  Better yet, when you do the trade is already over!  The other chart allows you to arrive at the same answer in a very short period of time.  Why, may I ask, do you go through so much time, effort, and struggle to arrive at the same conclusion?  Either it is a trade or it isn’t.  Human emotion is not that complicated and humans trade the stock market.

Are you willing to make things simple or are you wanting to make trading as complicated as you believe it ought to be?  You have a choice every day the opening bell rings.  How long will it take you to figure it out? Hope you have deep pockets and a really sharp pencil!
